Overview

These Terms of Use apply to the Docky website and the Docky macOS app. By accessing the website or downloading, buying, installing, or using Docky, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website or the app. If you use Docky for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

License

Subject to these terms and any purchase terms that apply to your order, Docky grants you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple Silicon Macs that you own or control.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on Docky, except to the extent a restriction is not permitted by law.

Purchases and billing

Paid features, licenses, or upgrades may be offered through the website or through a payment provider. The pricing, taxes, and billing terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase.

Unless a refund policy is stated at checkout or required by law, purchases are final. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for paying any applicable taxes.

Updates and availability

Docky may release updates, bug fixes, improvements, or new features at any time. Features may also change or be removed over time.

Availability of the website, downloads, updates, or any specific feature is not guaranteed.

Acceptable use

You may not use Docky in a way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, interferes with the website or app, or attempts to bypass security, licensing, or technical protections.

You are responsible for how you configure and use Docky on your system, including the permissions you choose to grant to the app.

Third-party software and platform dependencies

Docky depends on macOS behavior, APIs, and system integrations that are controlled by Apple. Changes to macOS may affect compatibility, features, or stability.

The website or app may include or rely on third party services, libraries, or payment providers. Those third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Disclaimers

Docky is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Docky does not warrant that the website or app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every macOS configuration or future operating system release.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Docky and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of Docky.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the total liability of Docky and its operator for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the product will not exceed the amount you paid for Docky in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using Docky at any time by uninstalling the app and stopping use of the website.

Docky may suspend or terminate your access to paid features or support if you materially violate these terms. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends immediately.

Changes to these terms

Docky may update these terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page unless a different date is stated.

Your continued use of Docky after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the website and app.
